Recruiter

Westwood Fine Cabinetry is seeking a recruiting Rockstar! We are looking for an extremely motivated individual to join our team as a Full-Time Recruiter on a temporary contract for 3-6 months to start. Our recruiter will be responsible for identifying hiring needs and filling job openings. The ideal candidate would have off the chart’s interpersonal skills, insanely organized, detail orientated and can assess candidates’ skills, experience, and knowledge with relevance to the job requirements.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Achieves staffing levels by recruiting and evaluating candidates
  • Screen candidates by reviewing resumes and preforming phone screenings  
  • Preform reference checks as needed
  • Establish recruiting requirements by working with managers to discuss needs
  • Determines applicant requirements by studying job descriptions and applications
  • Attracts applicants by placing job ads on chosen recruitment sites
  • Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules
  • Avoids legal challenges by understanding current legislation, enforcing regulations with managers, recommending new procedures, and conducting training

Qualifications/Skills:

  • 2- 4 years of relevant experience in recruitment
  • CPHR designation is not required, but definitely an asset
  • Recruiting and interviewing skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Phone, skype and online meeting platforms skills
  • Familiar with relevant employment law
  • Uber profession… with a dish of fun & casual … with record breaking organizational skills
