To me the kitchen is where sustenance is created, not just food and drink, but fuel for the soul. It is a room filled with energy, familiar sounds and aromas. A gathering place at the heart of the home. I think that functionality is extremely important in a kitchen, and I have that in the forefront of my mind when designing, keeping in mind who it needs to be functional for to bring the vision to life.
I started at Westwood in the spring of 2022 as a Design Assistant for Mary Lou Hawke.
I received my Diploma in Interior Design from Vancouver Island University and have been in the industry for over a decade.
There are too many things I love about living in the Okanagan to pick just one. I love that there is always something new to discover here, and every view is amazing! If I had to choose, I would say the board walk downtown in the summer.
